There are so many people from from so many backgrounds living in so many circumstances that it is impossibly to conceive or understand the magnitude of the diversity of human life on earth. One thing is for sure. This brief moment we have on earth is a moment we all share, but something that none of us experience the same way. we are all unique and special.

What a bubbler system is and how to connect it to a differential pressure transmitter.
Переглядів 18 тис.7 років тому
This video gives a brief explanation on what a bubbler / bubbeler system is and how to connect it. This video shows how to connect a bubbler to a tank that is open or vented to atmosphere. It also shows how to connect the bubbler / bubbeler to a tank that is closed to atmosphere or pressurized. A bubbler / bubbeler uses a differential pressure transmitter. This video shows how to connect the in...

    Hi Stuart.... your video is very cool in that a 3 wire RTD does compensate for the added resistances of long lead wires. .. I do have some problems with your math from 0:28 seconds forward. When you talk about a "resulting" resistance = R(b), where exactly would you measure this reisistance? It's not as simple as "adding" R2 in both sides of your equations, as R2 is "shared" by the other 2 legs and therefore your math is suspect???? Illustrating the cancellation effect of the lead compensation using voltage calculations would be more effective and correct. Anybody else out there caee to comment?

    • @DiogenesNephew
      @DiogenesNephew 2 роки тому

      That resistance cannot be directly measure, which is why it is calculated. His calculations follow logically.

    • @tedmortenson4036
      @tedmortenson4036 2 роки тому

      @@DiogenesNephew Sorry dude, but I disagree. Any calculation that states a "resulting resistance" must mean there's a 2 lead resultant which can be measured. The only exception would be with reactive circuits resulting in equivalent impedances. I think the explanation of how the 3 wires eliminates lead wire length is better explained using voltages.

  • @pocket83squared

    Succinct. Thanks. The root words give it away: water, unchanging, force. Thus, in a given liquid, the constant force pressing against its container may be determined by considering how the liquid's density is being affected by the weight of its own mass. Hope I'm thinking about that in the right way.

    This makes no sense, how is your wet leg 1.8sp? So your wet side is the low side. The tank is variable, level will change. If the wet leg is full then shouldn’t it go to the high side and the bottom tap go to the low side which will be lower in pressure that the wet leg?

    Does the angle of the tube matter? Could I use this application to measure the depth of a lake at a certain point? (End of a pier) Would the tube have to be mounted perfectly vertically at 90 degrees at the end of the pier or could the tubing be sloped from the edge of the lake, extending to the end of the pier, with the DP transmitter at the shorline? How well do you think the DP could handle small waves at the water's surface?

    • @johnpeterson6163
      @johnpeterson6163 4 місяці тому

      Only the vertical depth matters. If you know the angle, then use pythagorean's theorem to get the actual depth.
